Paper Trade: I am realizing that my new platform is 20 minutes behind...but it fills me at in real time...so what I am looking at does not match the place at which I am filled...meaning that I cannot fill where I am intending to be filled. Ugh. I'm going to go back to etrade pro for charts and trade on IB since both of those we have funded so they are real time. Got in this one thinking it was the bottom of the bounce at $3.14, added when it got down to $2.92. Got out at my best option.

Supernova up on no news but speculative articles. Had my limit order set the previous night in case it spiked up into resistance. I was using some previous range on the daily with the observation in mind that these crazy spikes blow into resistance a bit. As far as exit goes, I was really hoping it would tank farther, but it started consolidating, using the $2 area for support. Shortly after I finally exited, it crashed down to $2.40

Tried catching what looked like a rounding bottom. priced cracked a few cents lower and I got out to cut losses quickly. Another lesson. this was a gradual panic as well, so the retrace (if there is one) would be slow. I missed $DCTH and it pretty much pissed me off. This was the other highest volume play of the morning so I took the chance. Had I held it I could have at least gotten out for $4.37...

These are the plays I am trying to be patient for. Dip buying panics on pumps, however this one did not panic so much and I learned to remember that is important. You want exhaustion so you can ride the rubber band back the other way. This was gradually fading after a very brief panic. I bought on some minor support @ $.75 earlier on the daily. I had another order in @ $.43 but support was found at around $.50. Live and learn. I am not happy, but thats how it goes sometimes.

My very first stock trade after studying and paper trading for a long time with Tim's material. First I want to say, these Tradingview charts do not show nearly the info of Etrade-Pro, but the convenience of writing notes on the chart and saving it is worth the trade. Holding this speculative Dip buy overnight.
