Big spiker that fell hard. Entered hoping for a bounce, but it never materialized. There was a slow bleed till a crack below VWAP and a stop/loss. The only good thing about the trade was that I had an adequate stop/loss set. So losses were limited. However, my previous trade on the day (MOGO) I did not limit losses and took an oversized loss. Need to tighten my risk management.

Acckk... Caught chasing a breakout on a gapper that was already over extended. Added to position to average down cost basis. Trade got behind me quick, and I did not cut losses quickly. Very poor trade all around. I should have waited for the panic sell before buying in, but I apparently go fomo when there was a quick volumne spike.... I WILL CUT LOSSES QUICKLY.

Small Cap, Low Floater, with 20% GAP up on news of sale of part of their business for $18m million. There was support at 3.10 with some movement I entered 500 shares long at 3.10. Missed sale at 3.30, price consolidated with support at 3.14. I loaded another 500 share long at 3.14 for an avg price of 3.12. Large volume, but no real push beyond 3.25. I expect more fade through the day. I exited at 3.23 for a small profit. Single. (Good risk management use in trade)

Pharma stock with heavy premarket volume on stem cell treatment having positive phase three trials. In the first 30 mins of trading stock seemed poised to break through resistance at 2.40. I entered 500 shares long at 2.13. ticker moved to mid 2.30s, but never breached 2.40 there was a pull back into the low 2.10s. I added 500 shares a 2.145. The ticker pushed past vwap, but could get into the 2.30s. I caught spike from 2.15 to 2.27 and I exited for small profit.

Stock Gapped up from $2 to $5 pre-market. There was then a steep sell off. I watched ticker step down 2 times, and find some support at $3.40, but there was potential down side of about .20 to 200 MA. I saw a slightly bullish hammer appear at $3.40 with a slight break at $3.50 I made my entry at 3.50 long 400 shares, with a S/L .15 down at $3.35. Trade moved with me to about 3.57, but then stepped down past my S/L. Acceptable loss, and good Application of S/L rule. Loss < 2% of trade account.

Initial entry at 3.48 long 300 was stopped out at 3.36. ( Poor Stop Placement) Re-Entered @ $3.56 long 300 shares. Price broke 3.80 convincingly. I added 400 shares at $3.86. Should have sold test of the day high @ $4.4, but I hesitated (got greedy) and then there was a quick sell off to 3.58. 25 minutes later the price continued upward and I exit my position at $4.14 My last two successful trades have been small cap morning panic long plays.

Poor stop loss selection. This stop loss was set right at a resistance level and was only half my risk per trade. I should have set it .10 lower. It was just a tiny dip to 3.36. I wasted a trade on this for a small loss. I ended up buying back into the stock at a higher price to make a profit. (Set Proper Stop Losses below key levels, not a key levels)

First trade utilizing Trade Ideas. The ticker came up on my gap up scanner after gaping from 1.17 - 2.62. The price spiked to $4.36 at the open and then sold off over 30 minutes down to $3.13. I wanted to enter a 3.22, but was slow to move. Didn't adjust my quantity and only bought 100 shares initially at $3.57, added another 300 shares at $3.47 to avg down to $3.495. Jumped out a $4.26 (+ $0.765 per share) left some on the table as the stocked moved into the low $6s , but a nice single.

For some reason...I bought this low float stock with no recent volume. I bought it in two lots over 5 days to average cost basis down and held it overnight, which was horrible risk management. The only thing going for RCON is its low float, but there is no volume in the stock currently. So I just waited for it to be green and then exited. DON'T hold weak stocks overnight!!!!!!
