This one stings. I waited too long—on everything. I didn’t cut my losses when I should have, didn’t set a stop loss, and honestly... I didn’t even think. I was just "hoping the stock would turn around. Spoiler alert: it didn’t! From start to finish, this trade was a masterclass in what not to do. A string of horrible mistakes I can’t ignore. It humbles you. I’m still learning, and days like this are part of the process. Now the only question left is: How many burpees do I do?

Held On a Bit Too Long — Still Learning I held onto this trade a little longer than I should have. Fortunately, the loss wasn’t significant, but it’s another reminder that cutting losses quickly is a skill I’m still developing. Managing risk is just as important as finding good setups, and this is an area I’m actively working to improve.

Watching Tim’s Weekend read about VERB. I had been holding onto this position but ended up selling it by mistake on Friday, 8/15, during after- hours. I was at the beach with spotty Wi-Fi, trying to check the after-hours action, and accidentally hit the wrong button. Despite the slip-up, I'm still happy with how the trade turned out.

My First Trade: Fear, Patience & Growth-Opened 6/2/25, closed 8/1. Accidentally bought more than intended & held, breaking rule #1—I didn’t want my first trade to be a loss. Fear froze me, tying up funds & missing setups. But I turned it into a study session: learned charts, tracked emotions, gained confidence. The real win-GROWTH. Trading is a journey—learn, adapt, grow. Valuable lessons all around.

Held this one for several weeks because I was afraid of taking a big loss. Made the mistake of breaking rule #1: cutting losses quickly. Thinking it might run again like before. In the meantime, I missed out on other solid opportunities because my capital was tied up. Fortunately, news finally dropped, it came back around, and I was able to lock in profits. Big lesson here: protect and don’t let fear dictate the trade.

Big thanks to Tim! After following the Challenge Chat and the guidance, I took my second trade. Still a bit nervous—especially with the long weekend coming up—but feeling more confident than before. On 7/3, entered at 11:26 AM with 50 shares at $3.51. Exited just over an hour later at 12:31 PM at $3.855. A small win, $17.26 profit—I'll take it! Progress is progress, and every trade is a lesson.
