Love being able to screw up & still make a profit! Should have gone with first instinct to buy at 3.30 instead of 3.45. Knew couldn't watch market on Tuesday so set a conservative GTC @ 3.85; was considering $4 but didn't want to be piggy and lose the profit altogether.
Didn't move as quickly as I expected; wouldn't have time to watch it longer therefore closed the position. Not a big gain but didn't lose either.
My first short ever so I kept the position relatively small. I preferred closing out early today and taking a profit since the most of my day I will be tied up with meetings, etc. and not able to watch it. Just happy I was able to make a profit first time out.
Thought I timed it better than PPHM but instead have mastered the art of buying at the top. Didn't do what I expected - got too thin again too fast so I dumped it.
Entry comments: Bought as a QE play but with a buy/hold mentality (pre-becoming student). If I knew then what I know now I would have sold and then bot/sld two more times for great profits. Crazy busy at work so have this set up as an OCA with a trailing stop loss so I have minimum profits locked in if it doesn't do what I want.
Exit comments: The trailing stop loss kicked in today.
This is the second half of the original 1K. This day I was planning to sell and forgot to set a $5 limit order before I was dragged into a meeting. Still made a little profit.
This is half of the original 1K bot the day prior; had lead feet buying so spent a few days second-guessing myself. Had two conflicting rules - cut losses and never trade ahead of news so I sold half to cut losses and held half to not trade ahead of news.
Still first foray into pump dump crap; this is the other trade related to the 7 free lessons - it didn't do what I was hoping - cut my losses fast.
Started playing around with penny stocks. Wasn't a Tim student @ the time; found the 7 free lessons after purchase - took his advice and my little profit before the pump dumped.
Entry comments: three months later became restricted by my employer; was on business side at time and was stuck
Exit comments: Not on business side anymore; was able to dump.
