The plan was to buy this stock once it established support, and get out at $2 +. It found support around $1.75 which was the pre-market low, and a support level toward the end of the previous day. I got in at $1.80, and the morning panic wasn't over. I got out as soon as possible, but it moved really fast. There was an opportunity dip buy at $1.30, but after that bounce the stock fizzled out the rest of the day.

I ignored warning signs, and I paid the price. I was at work, and ROKA came up on my app with news before lunch (AZ time). Big morning spike followed by a pullback. I noticed that the stock was making higher highs and higher lows. I took 700 shares @ $2.05 around 1:18 (EST). I went to lunch expecting to get out toward close. The stock did not reach my goal at $2.25+, I didn't cut losses at $1.85, and I held on until $1.70. So many mistakes were made. FOMO

Lost on a winning day for this stock because of my poor timing. Bought at the peak of the morning breakout, and sold when it consolidated below my risk point. Buy the morning break, or wait for pattern confirmation later in the day. Lesson Learned!

This popped up on my % Gainers scan after the market opened. The volume was >1M, and the catalyst was a big contract win. The plan was to buy on the first pullback after the morning spike risking off of VWAP. The stock failed to break out further, and I got out once it broke below VWAP.

I missed the open red to green move, so I waited to see if the stock would make higher highs and higher lows. Once it did I took my position of 1000 sh at $.96 risking off the previous low. It started to get toppy around $1.05, and I was looking for $1.10, so I sold 500 sh at $1.05 to calm my nerves a bit. The stock dropped below VWAP to $.97, and I got out on the uptick at $.99 because it was having a hard time breaking $1. I like this pattern, but the action on this stock was weak. #Profits

This jumped from 3 to 5 p/s in premarket. I was looking for a weak open red to green move, and I got it. All of the studying is starting to set in as i saw three different ways to play this long over the course of the day. Now I just have to work on pulling the trigger.

I was still learning the Overnight Gapper play. I know how to play this chart next time. I basically got caught holding the bag after market open when everyone else was taking profits. Good lesson

I tried to hold this over the weekend, and it failed. This was another failed summer move for me.

Bought this recent earnings winner toward EOD after it broke 52 week high. The plan was to buy near support of 3.10, hold overnight for potential breakout the following day over 52 week high. The stock reached 3.31 pre-market, but panicked after open. Cut losses when stock broke below 3.10 support at 3.07. Will not cry over $50 loss.

Dip bought this earnings winner. Broke through support. Attempted to get out at .65, but had technical issues. Cut losses as quickly as I could.
