decided to buy and hold a little in case of morning spike since it held gains well enough.Plan was to get up at market open and unload it if it didnt spike.. Took a pain pill for my knee at bed time and slept through my 3AM hawaii time alarm..ugh..got out at around 9:30AM ( not sure why time stamp is showing later hour) for a stupid loss. lesson being :never take pain pills if money is on the line.lol. #markettuition

Happened upon this in the chat. It was towards the end of the day. Most of the spike was earlier. Looking back resistance looked to be at .5, so I watched and once it breached that I bought in for the possible breakout to .6 and above, planning to sell at .6 or mid .60s at the end of the day. It looked to have some day support at .45, so my risk/reward looked to be in the 2 to 1 range, and I was very prepared to exit if it went down that low.Not on watchlst. Strickly price action/candle watching

Spotted late in the chat, after its initial big breakout. Didnt chase this..waited for it to test/break 2.0 and possibly test multi-month resistance at 2.24-2.25. Got in at 2.035. It got to 2.10ish and no better. I HELD THIS WAY TOO LONG. Out at 1.88. Need to cut losses quicker and not worry and hem & haw about losing a 'precious " day-trade. I was hesitant to sell after this dropped...hoping it would bounce."Hope is not a strategy" ! Also need smaller position sizes while learning. UGH.
