Testing out a shorting pattern, clearly didn't work this time, took a small loss
Only 70 shares of my 1,000 got filled before the market close. Stock did climb to a $30 profit but since my full order didn't fill I kept it into the market open and it slowly fell so I sold for a small loss.
Did not have any day trades so I had to hold over night, stock did not climb after the close.
First big buy trying to build my account faster...got greedy. Was +$500 premarket but I held into the open and it dropped, 2 days and never came back up.
Another example of holding over night and not selling pre-market. Stock was up $200 then fell at the open. Learned: SELL PREMARKET!
Thought this was going to spike but didn't sell before earnings and ended up getting stuck,,,good think I took the loss, it's at .67 a share now!
Ticker popped up on my scanner...held over the weekend because I didn't want to waste a day trade Friday on a $50 win. It paid off this time!
Ticker popped up on my scanner and then in the chatroom, jumped in late and held over night but still made a small profit without wasting any day trades. :)
Ticker popped up on my scanner and I jumped in...spiked pre-market and hit the day high which I was able to exit at.
