After being away for a few weeks I played it safe with a paper trade from an alert with SCR. The plan was to make 10% off of a bounce. Cut losses quickly when the chart changed directions. Very happy with exit execution.

This trade was a potential dip and rip off of the morning high. I was a little bit behind with my entry. I got in at $5.95 and got out just four minutes later at $6.11 with a 2% gain after cutting my losses when the chart started going sideways with a slide downward slope.

I tried to catch the morning spike. My entry was late and close to the top, so I had to exit as quickly as possible.

Practiced trading a morning spike. Way too late to the game

Entry: Working on my discipline so only paper trading today. Got an alert on SmallCapRockets chat for a potential good trade with this ticker. Quickly filled my entry, my goal was to gain 10% and then get out. Again working on discipline. Exit: Ticker got up to my 10% goal after about ten minutes. Looked like it could have kept going but I was happy that I stuck to my plan and got out. I've really been trading like a degenerate lately, so I was very happy with the execution.

Entry: Missed the 15% run at the open. Buying on a third green minute candle, hoping to make 10%. Will cut losses if below .88. Exit: I've never had to work that hard to get out of stock. Will now make sure volume is consistently above 2 mil before making an entry

Entry comment: Wanted to try out buying a stock on the third green candle after a dip that lasted a few minutes with volume between 2-4 mil. Plan was to make 10% and get out if I was correct. Exit comment: Did go the way that I had hoped. Awesome paper trading lesson and great practice for cutting losses quickly. Maybe I'll stay away from OTC plays spiking that close to open.
