Got alerted on this stock on Black Box Stock scanner. Caught a perfect quick little uptick...thought it could go to 1, but the stock had a hard time convincingly breaking 0.95 so I exited. Turned out to be a perfect exit as the stock dropped a few minutes later.
bought on news of an asset purchase agreement. seemed like very good news. apparently it was "old news" but it was made official the day I found out about it. Tim Sykes passed on it saying the stock was acting funny, and after buying the stock dipped three cents and I couldn't sell because of the pattern day trader rule. I ended up holding o/n at the stock rallied after hours. Good catalyst, but got kind of lucky. Executed trade perfectly in the end.
Thesis didn't really hold up. Exited for negligible gain.

Tried to capture more gains but looked weak end of day. Exited for small loss and continued fade.
energy play saw volume pouring in and positive price action and took it for a ride. exited 10 minutes later for nice little gain.
This was a fat finger mistake. Held overnight and my limit sell didn't execute. Could have gotten out for break even.
