Bad trading

What an ugly loss. Small % loss but could've been a big win. Day job got in the way.

Couldn't get out for a $200+ gain. Bummer.

This thing is a heck of a gapper sometimes, and with oil prices going up I thought I had a chance over the long weekend. Nope.

I could've made some serious money if I wasn't working. I just sell as soon as I can, but this thing gave no reason to sell. I can't very well quit my job yet though.

Cut losses quickly.

Took big size because it was a pattern I'm starting to recognize. I cut losses quickly because that was my plan, it shouldn't have went negative. It tanked hard but then climbed all the way back up to near it's high. I hate when that happens.

I was going for a dollar loss stop on this one, looking at what that percentage was maybe I'll start shooting for a lower percentage. I don't like seeing 10% loss.

Really happy with this trade. I tried to talk to Croock about it in the webinar but got ignored. He said it was not a good play but I don't think he was looking at it like me. I saw a former runner breaking out of a very narrow channel it had been in for 3 months with decent news. It gapped up huge and closed near the top the next day. I knew I should've held through the chop for a really good win but it's alright, play it safe.
