Bought into a morning spike (up on CEO comments) but got out almost immediately when the action looked uncertain. It retraced almost all of its gains the rest of the day. Lesson learned - be early for gap up plays. Ten minutes into the market is often times too late!

Takeover rumor play on The Street article, but this went noplace. Utterly baseless speculation and a truly trigger-happy play that should have been better researched.

Positive CEO comments made it look like this could run; not so much. Got out after a few minutes.

Caught this short during an afternoon dive; got in and out fast and glad I did. Worked out but the meat of the move for this stock was in the morning when it tanked seventy cents - oh well; can't watch everything.

Bought midday spike and the trading gods saw it - I was punished accordingly. Cut losses and price faded the rest of the day. Need better setups to catch these spikes earlier, when they first gain momentum. Trading from a laptop sucks, BTW.

Went up on news of a big options purchase but was short lived. Possible takeover news later; will look at it again if/when stronger catalyst comes out.

Rode this morning spike on hype news for a quick win. Faded the rest of the day and into the following day also.

WTF - I don't know how I even did this. Bought this biotech rumor play at the high and sold one minute later once I got nailed for 12 cents. Fuck you, trading gods. Fuck you.

Shady stock that Tim tried to short. It was a blatant pump but you can't argue with price action. Took it for a small gain on a spike.
