This was the biggest market red day in in months. I wasn't watching my futures chart and missed a huge play there. I thought we would make it at least through labor day before any big movement. I focused on finding the noob RH play in the stock market. Got in EVFM at the right price, could've pulled out with profit but let it come down, they ran the stop on me before it bounced. Need to take profits sooner and be super cautious with stop losses in the future. The strategy isn't at fault here.

Scanned it easy on with my new strategy of hating on RH traders. Worked out well. If I didn't have a PDT limit I could have easily traded this at least 7 times. Extremely predictable patterns and prices compared to futures trading. I hope the predictability continues. I am due for a loss, this is maybe my 5th win in a row. Some recent ones were RH trades lol... hypocritical, but I hate RH and don't even feel like posting those. Most of those trades are done as a joke.

Decided to try a strategy of finding the stocks dumb Robinhood traders are using and profiting off of them. The charts are incredibly easy to read compared to futures. I didn't have much capital because all of my funds were invested in $AAPL, which has been profiting for days following the split.

IPO gamble. I've been studying futures every day for about two months. I understand price action, chart patterns and Japanese candles 1000% better than anything before here. Set three limits pre-market at my targets, but I'm not used to TOS or stocks anymore. Didn't know that to sell pre-market you need to change the limit type to EXT. Targets hit but the orders did not commence - had to sell lower than I could've after I figured out what the problem was. Tiny gain. Lesson learned.

This made no sense, I just got bored while practicing futures and decided I wanted to jump into a random stock trade with real money. Total stupid gamble, and loss, nothing else. I wish this displayed the correct entry date: 07/16/2020!!!! This doesn't count as my new 2020 stock trades. I literally turned my computer on that day and just traded something random without looking. I've been practicing restraint and trading for 15 hours a day since then and I would not do this now.

Very valuable lesson learned with these recent trades... take profits when they're available instead of waiting and hoping things get even better. Don't be too greedy. It would be better to accumulate smaller profits over time and I would've had profits and a large gain this week had I just simply collected. Glad to know that my picks aren't the problem, just the way I am trading them. Looking forward to the future.

Bought into a morning spike after watching some trades, first time I increased my stop loss during the trade to secure my (small) profits. Glad I did too because the stock tanked afterwards. Thinkorswim crashed twice while trying to initiate the stop loss and almost screwed me.

Stupid stock, traded it on momentum and didn't take my profits of $100+ and instead let it go down for a loss. Cut my loss quickly with a stop loss, first time I've ever used a stop loss.
