1-DTE when the Q's were down big on Thursday. If I would have waited until the afternoon on Friday, I would have made much more. I didn't have much confidence in it because of the choppy market lately.
Very bad trade. I was early and should have cut my losses after the initial buy, but I added. Losers add to losers! I recouped most of my losses fortunately!
Entry comments: Another watchlist/scanner triggered stock with anticipation of upcoming spikes. Instead of setting a buy for the stock at the flux point, I am leveraging the available options.
Entry comments: Taking a small position via an options contract, minimizing my risk/exposure. SPRY alerted from one of my high confidence scan source.
I bought this one thinking AMD would bounce bigger off this morning sell off, but it didn't and it gapped down the next day.
Lesson learned: Never change a day trade into a swing trade. Especially when the expiration is in two days. Most of this loss happened on a gap down the next day.
Great day to sell. Went into all cash. Many of my positions retreated after I sold them.
