Bought VTI after gapping green candle over 9SMA after elections ended and stock market did not sell off. Was thankfully able to sell to break even after market finally decided to sell off big below 9SMA. Will look to re-enter on uptrend confirmation signals.

Reentered VTI after tall green off downtrend, low RSI, and MACD confirmation for long term hold. However VTI came back close to entry price which I thought would crack lower due to election uncertainty, rising coronavirus case numbers/lockdowns, etc. Also Ziptrader (youtuber I follow) thought this was the beginning of a long term downtrend. (In hindsight this was very wrong and should never of sold).
