After it climbed up to 6.69 then dropped, I entered just below the 5.50 resistance hoping for a breakout back to 6 or higher. Volume left (noon) and it consolidated around 5.45 until it finally slid through my stop. Lesson: Speculative plays are fine as long as you cut losses quickly.
Entry comments: Speculative intraday dip buy on this runner with solid all day uptrend, just hit the 6.60s so it moves fast, goal is to sell into a bounce in the 6s ideally, cut losses if no bounce
Exit comments: No bounce so cutting losses, worth a shot given how far off the top it was, but its not heading the right way so small losses are fine, onto the next
November was certainly an exciting month for a new Trader 8 months in and what a ride so far.. WOW! so many lessons , so much learning - last week of November was my worst by far- not real sure why , i was just out of control over trading the whole month and my P&L reflects that- I am back up changing my journal some- have been pretty generic, i am going to start recording my trades in detail, this will slow me down I think. we will see -
Panic Dip Buy - Failed bounce. Failed bounce, stock dropped quickly down, cutting my losses. Speculative buy, this stock has such low volume, I should not even trade this!
Trailing stop screw/save was working. this was supposed to be a good slow gainer. turned on me not long after buying
