Small loss on low float experimental Breakout buy. Saw VATE breakout above key resistance level 13.00 and originally wanted to buy that but the way it broke out was not convincing enough to enter. But when it held previous resistance level 13.00 as support and created a small Double-Top at 13.41, I thought that if it breaks out here I'll buy with a small number of shares to see if it breaks out stronger.
moved my stop to break even from previous trade and stopped out
orig buy 1000 shares, BRB play sold 500 quick single
Up on earnings. Entry around VWAP. Decided to exit early as the spread is wide. Taking what I can get off the move.
Bought this trade when it hit the RCT level this morning, as it had a lot of momentum on the intial spike. This was more speculative because of the volume but I leaned into it and sold my position into the spike. This was a good trade and I got out into strength. It went a little higher but then dropped hard.
