Had a good entry and thought I had a good stop loss but.35 wasn't enough

tried another Swing trade here. my account is slowly dwindling toward zero. im not adding more funds until i find consistency. may switch to paper trading until i can learn to follow my own rules
Daily chart show a #5 with hammer candle. Entered extremely late following double bottom of sorts using 32.58 as risk and 39 as the target. Price advanced but quickly peaked and faded. Held through the pull back until it was clear the bounce had failed. I jumped into the trade way to soon and hesitated on my entry to the point of chasing. not a very good performance on my part.
This is the second half of my split. It dropped down to my trail stop so a total of 17% between the two
On news of the China rare earth chokehold, I found this US based rare earth company that had been consistently moving up over 6 months. Sold half on Monday for 23% and held the other half while moving my stop well past my entry. I was going to hold this for a onger term but the good short term profit made me exit.
Entered near key level and then dipped and downtrended at open so cut.
