August 2024 update - new best month and new best week. Looking at statistics I still need to hone in on cutting quickly, being selective on trades and equally importantly letting runners run.
July 2024 update - was working on house remodel and wedding planning - got totally irrational one day after staying up all night and entered short $TSLA and long $AMZN for breakout, proceeded to hold and hope until the options basically expired worthless. Very dissapointed in myself after several green months and finally getting my footing.
Lots of ups and downs this week mainly on $AMZN breakout fakeout with options, told myself to let it prove itself and still chased. Was able to reattack and profit, then Friday FRD. Shorting and longing has been undisciplined but primary profits from $AMZN and RIVN options, RIVN gap and crap and panic then flipping long. I can do so much better but thankful for these gains this week /month!
June 2024 Week 3 Got wildly undisciplined towards beginning of week wanting to buy puts on NVDA and not cutting quick enough, but the break in middle of week helped realign my mental fitness. Attacked Apple FRD /DT + news short with puts then got FRD on NVDA for a solid gain. Had a decent dipbuy on ZAPP but got crushed chasing breakout on GRDI into a middle finger candle and then halt down. Another highlight was MBIO afternoon breakout but sold way too soon.
Update on 6/7-6/14/2024. Most of money made on $GME and $NVDA once again, got frustrated on Friday and took a big loss but also had some frustrations earlier in week not following plans and missing out on profits. Lessons this week need to stick to watchlist and only trade speculative setups small and very cautiously. But if I have a solid plan stick to it, if I don't have a plan why am I in the stock?
6/3-6/8 2024 trades - Highlights, not sticking to plan on NVDA call options and CCM short cost me 15k in profits, but more frustrating was trading emotionally and completely irrationally on XTIA taking three losses, two big ones trying to catch the falling knife. Once again profits so far this month primarily GME and NVDA long and short, options and stock. Thankful for opportunity and gains - big improvement over trades in 2021 with similar opportunity. Need to be ready to size down/adapt
