
Entry comments: Initiating a position on a bounce from its lows. News PR on this insurance company having substantial losses from revenue due to the California Wildfires. Believe this one has another dump in its future. But I won't be too patient if this doesn't play out.
Exit comments: Luckily I closed 4 of the contract just before the earnings release which minimized my losses; earnings were good and it spiked. Was hoping for a pullback and breakdown eventually since I had time on these contracts. But it's just been hanging out above $140 so I cut on Friday.

Entry comments: Buying this bounce on California Insurance after a major dump. Goal is to sell into the #6 from the 7 step framework.
Exit comments: Just Damn...Another one that I was successful on the intial round. Still believe in this one working, but I should have bought into next month's puts. Depreciation killed these puts on the spike and consolidation for 2 days. Cut the dumb loss

Entry comments: Bought this insurance ticker for puts near the money, anticipating downside due to the California wildfires and negative PR this afternoon. Tomorrow the stock market is off for President Carter's funeral; anticipating investors will digest the news over the day off and sell off on Friday, particularly if the market continues its downside (and especially due that Biden is banning NVDA from exporting chips to China...more downside expected). Goal is $235 or less in the commons.
Exit comments: Wanted to be patient and sell this much lower, but the ticker started spiking at the bell so I took safe profits. Coulda should woulda....
