Learning to be more disciplined and meticulous on my trades as Tim always says
Accidently dip bought this stock when my finger was hovering over the buy button, as I was not sure if I wanted to enter the trade at the support level due to the lower volume. It spiked up about $.08, but then started to fail quickly, so I hit the sell button at my stop loss, but had a few cents of slippage. Good lesson to be more careful when I have my mouse over the buy/sell button.
Entry date Dec 1, 2025: Bought 100 shares of TAOP for $3.06. RCT play, bought in AH when it hit the top body of the first red 5-min candle, big % gainer with BNC alert, 1.8x float rotation, 511.75K float, former spiker. Goal was .60¢ spike. Risk/reward was 1:2, .30¢ downside .60¢ upside. Exit date Dec 1, 2025: Sold 100 shares of TAOP for $2.96. Couldn’t break oracle resistance, sold when it broke VWAP, way above risk level, re-hit entry level, spiked a couple minutes after, panic sold SMH!
Ten minutes into open, stock appeared to have bottomed, bought at a good price, began to climb then fell. Good buy, just wrong on premise.
Parabolic short into vwap from 20th Dec. 22mil float, and up 300%. Covered 2nd half too early due to the unusual sustained volume, ended up working nicely.
