this one got me tired. very undisciplined..Now that I am out it is moving up again.. lol.. but I bought into this one at a high price where I thought it was going to go up and it didn't. I bought my way out of a loss. But it was holding where I ended up with price. I wanted a 10% which needed another 10 cents but I really wasn't seeing it coming.. however, it's now @2.14 :)
Took a position on this low float, bio tech reverse split holding the $3 level; tried to grab a few hundred shares, only got filled 117 though...bummer, nice little rip; sold when it looked like it wasn't gonna break out much more. Happy little gain.
Took this as a swing thinking it might gap up the next day because it closed by its highs. it was selling off in the market open so I got out. It did end up going up in the afternoon but after volatility halts, which would have shook me out anyway. Those things get me uncomfortable but im sure I'll get more use to them in the future.
Swung this trade on news. Was surprised how much it ran up because I was looking for 10-20% and was trying to get out as it spiked to $1.00 but Etrade doesn't allow premarket trading before 7:00AM EST and had to go to work soon. Got it sold right at 7:00 AM (4:00 AM where I live) got ready and left to work. Trading at work never works out for me.
Drug patent ews was announced previous day 5/8 early during after-hours I was expecting to have more legs the following day which it did spike up mid pre-market 5/9 to a high of $1.00 from a low of $0.26 but lost steam & continued to decline after exit. Made sure to cut losses quickly.
