Cut losses when Trump announced new tariffs today. This was a GOOD cut.
Entry comments: Taking a shot on this car parts ticker. Real company, and other car part dealers are still at highs. I think this has room to explode over $1.
Exit comments: Averaged down at the low .80s and sold today prior to earnings. Wanted to be patient for the .90s level, but just no time with work. Sold on a break to de-risk before earnings release.
Bought cause dad made a comment about it potentially ripping back above $1.00. Cut cause it was stalling out.
Entry comments: Taking another shot at this car parts retailer; higher of a float than I like, but it's near a key dollar figure. People always need car parts, no matter the price; carparts.com is a large supplier to autozone and other car parts stores, plus direct to consumer. Worth a shot for a potential swing. Already messed up selling at $0.79 - it's up after earnings as well...that's a good sign. Smaller position though...will keep me patient.
Exit comments: Just a little cheddar. I like this ticker and thesis. Will be watching for pullbacks to re-long this ticker.
Flux recommendation - was not moving much - need to free up space for new trade, closed out for very minor loss
