Entry comments: Bought just 100 shares as there was sideways action all day, then it started to peak up confirming to me that it's bullish. The catalyst news is that Mallinckrodt to commence cash tender offer to purchase Ocera Therapeutics for $1.52 per share.
Exit comments: The stock was moving sideways forever, it's putting me to sleep and the volume is going down so I exited this swing trade.
First spike in premarket so wasn't able to take advantage of it. No catalyst when I entered. Didn't wait to see If the stock could approach the previous intraday high with strength. DON'T trade in the first 30 min of the day unless exiting a trade from a previous day. Especially if the stock spiked in premarket.
