Cut. Losses. Quickly. I did stupid things unfortunately

I did not want to post these next two trades out of embarrassment. Major losses. SMH. This was FOMO. Bought without no real plan. Just saw it rising quickly. I held on to it the next day hoping for a uptrend. Didn't happen.

Entry comments: Bought 1k shares @ $1.96. I forgot I had the buy order pending and hit 2 min before market close.

Exit comments: Sold 1k shares @ $1.80. I really screwed up this exit. Sigh..I had limit sell set up for $200 gain....but thought price would break $2.26. Top was $2.25. I did not read the chart to see that shorts were forced to cover around $1.90 high from premarket. Should have grabbed my $200 gain.

Entry date Oct 8, 2025: Bought 230 shares of NXL for $1.76. Afternoon VWAP hold play, bought when it broke strong intraday resistance right above VWAP, big % gainer with news, 13.3x float rotation, 13.02M float, former runner, FGD. Goal was .26¢ spike. Risk/reward was 1:2, .13¢ downside .26¢ upside. Exit date Oct 8, 2025: Sold 230 shares of NXL for $1.83. Spiked, was holding strong, was also very choppy with swings, sold when it did not hold a big spike.

Entry date Oct 8, 2025: Bought 150 shares of NXL for $1.36. RCT play, bought in pre-market when it hit the top body of the first red 5-min candle, big % gainer with news, 0.75x float rotation, 13.02M float, former runner, day 1ner. Goal was .40¢ spike. Risk/reward was 1:2, .20¢ downside .40¢ upside. Exit date Oct 8, 2025: Sold 150 shares of NXL for $1.23. Didn’t hold spike, sold at risk level, should wait for some float rotation, retested entry 2nd time with float rotation and worked.
