broke rules, didn't do my DD, didn't look at balance sheet, got caught in a financing, and then averaged down on a loser, increasing my loss
Thought price had found support and would rise to the 1s. No luck and took losses.
Bought 200 at 2.47 and another 250at 1.59 and failed to cut losses quickly, or adhere to the 4EMA rule. In fact, it moved against me while I was working, so I tried averaging down.
Entry comments: Bought more of this as I was averaging down ... (this was actually my third buy). Still holding some waiting on it to recover somewhat ....
Biggest loss yet on one I traded as super was buying it and it was on his list, They did a financing and tanked the share price so I just took the loss rather than hold it any longer and hope that it comes back. Did not follow my nor supers rules.
Entry comments: Bot several times - 200 @ 2.47, then 200 more at 1.59 then 700 more at 0.79. I figured that I would average down with the first dip instead of cutting losses when it broke the 4 EMA. I should have followed the rules! I've sold 600 @ 0.69 already .... ugghh . I guess that's my first market tuition ....
Company posted a stock offering the next day so took my losses as is fell into 0.60s a week or so later.
