Missed a lot of plays this morning so when I saw this stock which has a 159M float with no news but is a multi-month breakout at 23.00 I bought 200 shares on the dip when it started forming an ascending triangle and broke 23.60. Goal was 24.00 but I just took my 20c. Got up to 23.98 after I sold and could well break 24.00 then HOD at 24.10. 11:42AM UPDATE: Now at 24.30 broke HOD. Should've held!!!
Accidentally got into.. Bottom bounce, waiting too long before entering..if my entry was at 21.70 where I watched to get into, I would have waited a bit more for it to resolve. Could have reversed my position and got a good fade to $20.80-ish
This was a late in the day mover and got in and out as these months have been slow and low volume
I played this one safe and locked the profit below the whole dollar but I could have definitely held more. After vacation need to be better with letting them run.
