Was following a large unusual trade today; cut when it started reversing.
Decided since this bounced a bit to short the bounce with Puts; took gains near the bottom of the bounce.
Entry comments: Took an additional position on this oil/gas sector ticker as an earnings option algo trade. This is a formidable company, and even if they post a loss, I would suspect that their forward guidance is positive with respect to Trump being in office. Much more Risk than I usually would want.
Exit comments: This one sucked too. What can I say, between the two option algos, they both lost. but, I kept the position size consistent, so win some, lose some.
Entry comments: Bought this oil/gas earnings play on an options algo alert.
Exit comments: This was basically breakeven, same comments as before.
Entry comments: Gamma alert. a few minutes later Jeff sent an email stating he did not like todays pick so I canceled the other one, but this one already filled couldn't sell foe any profit today will try again tomorrow.
Exit comments: Well should have got out a soon as I seen Jeff didn't like it.
I hate KMI, but I played ER. It was high and knew it would fall a bit as it always does. But I didn't;t bet large. More of a fun option play for shits n giggles.
Entry comments: Reduce the cost of LEAP option
Exit comments: Closed when past my profit target.
