Entry comments: This stock declared a 9 cent dividend with ex-date 12/10. That is a pretty good dividend for this purchase price, so, at worst, I will collect that. However, the price has been choppy between 1.60 and 1.80 since the dividend was declared. My plan is to sell at 1.75 if I can or hold for the dividend if I cannot.

Exit comments: Price did not pop on the last day before ex-date as I expected. Still, I made more than the 9 cent dividend, so, I'm happy.

Entry comments: Started the trade when the price was breaking out after a dip. The breakout did not hold, so, added to it later at the low of the day. The catalyst is announcement that the company is paying their first dividend which would be a 20% return if continued quarterly. I expect this will find some legs as more people learn about it. Ex-dividend date is 12/10, so, either realize the gain or hold for the dividend.

Exit comments: Took advantage of the rise in price later in the day to close the sale for a 17 cent profit (better than the dividend would have been). It turned out to be good timing as the price dropped back down after that. This is still a valid dividend play through 12/10, so, I will watch for an opportunity to repeat.
