Broke my number 1 rule and bought anticipating a run to highs. Didnt acknoledge that they were about to announce earnings. Tanked hard on earnings and i didnt cut losses quick. Was not a big finacial loss but this one really hurts with how stupid i traded this.
Manageable loss here, I was having some issues with DAS in the morning and only took a small entry, I waited for a dip to add but I didn't want to rush in randomly... if I had been a little bit more patient I would have kept this loss smaller, in the end it's not a huge deal, it's only a 0.75R loss
FGDB, had plan for this, didn’t go in the first time, waited and when broke 10 again, entered as L2 looked like backing it up, fake L2, all disappeared, vol was low, bad trade tb, so just got out and cut loss quickly.
Entry comments: One more dip buy but this is a former runner and nice 50 cents/share off its intraday highs, I think it can get back there, goal is to make 5-10% cut losses though if no bounce as dip buys have been weak today
Exit comments: Solid little single here after annoying losses earlier so I'm happy to lock it in...very small size, but I'm happy one of these bounces finally worked, just gotta go with the strongest/scarier plays...now watching CODX too
