Entry on JT chart of the week. Price fluctuated but never started on upward trend. I should have exited much sooner.
Entry comments: Dipping my toe in the waters of options. Recommendation by Ross Givens.
Exit comments: This was up about 7% this morning and took a downturn and never recovered. Lesson to maybe get out in the green, especially since contracts decay.
Was up in pre-market & right at open. Couldn't get out because there were no buyers. Lesson learned about trading option contracts that aren't the biggest stocks or at least the soonest closing contracts (these were 12.16 rather than 12.09).
Cut losses quickly
Entry comments: Momentum Swing Setup - Long this oil sector stock breaking over a triple top at the 8.25 level. Bought this afterhours after I noticed it's been fitting what I have been tracking. Looking to swing this risking the EMA4.
Exit comments: Ended up gapping up today and failing hard. Cut losses but should've cut sooner
