I got in this trade because I had made 2/12 15% & 2/14 12% on this ticker & thought I could do better. Dip bought 2/21 8:30 $1.00 on the gap down from 2/20 $1.20 to 2/21 $1.07. Price hit 8:34 $0.70 but I was too slow to get the add. Price bounced to 9:28 $1.11 on low volume. I set my Limit Sell at $1.20 on the expected gap re-fill & Fidelity got me out 2/22 8:51. Price hit 8:51 $1.22 & is $1.16 at 9:18 on very low volume.
I got in this trade because I made 14% on it 2/12 & I thought I could do better. Dip bought 10:44 $1.25 26% off 8:30 $1.70 HOD. This is the exact same trade, 150 shares at $1.25, that I made on 2/12. I immediately set my Limit Sell for $1.50. Price bounced to 13:13-13:14 $1.45, pulled back to $1.32, but couldn't get higher than $1.40 as the close was approaching. I didn't want to be in o/n so I got out 14:57 $1.40.
So this is really disappointing. I actually was trading this perfectly to start. 500 at 1.79 exit 1.91. Then again 500 at 1.225 exit around 1.40. Then the mistake happened. I meant to buy 300 at 1.48 accidentally bought 3k. It dropped instantly and instead of my planned 30 dollar loss I had a 217 dollar loss. This hurt my whole day.
I got in this trade when the STT alert I had set went off at 8:45 $1.51 "50% off 1/4 $3.05 get in!" I pulled the chart up and saw that it was collapsing from 8:30 $2.30 HOD & that $1.50 wasn't going to hold but there was 10M Bid at $1.25 so I put my Limit Buy there & Fidelity got me in 8:50. Price hit 8:54-8:55 $1.55 & I put in my Limit Sell at $1.50 but didn't get executed argh! Finally got out 12:28 $1.432.
I blew this trade because I entered the wrong order. I tried to sell higher but because I entered a buy instead of a sell I didn't get filled where I wanted too. Secondly I missed the EOD pop from 1.30 to 1.50. I didn't pull the trigger on that move.
Importing wrong once again. First entry 300 shares at 2.635. Second entry 200 at 2.694. Exits at 2.88 for 300. The rest at 2.74. Then reenter at 2.665 with 300 selling at 2.74 once again. Great trades. Recognized the levels. I will continue to watch today as this climbs to the 3.00 level for the breakout.
