Volatility explosion/implosion setup, partial fill.
Entry comments: It has similar chart pattern as AVEO. Both in the healthcare sector. AVEO gapped down the day before so I was watching DEPO to see if it starts to breakdown. At the eod it hit resistance and I shorted from that point. Holding o/n. Right at eod half of the days volume came in then. Looking for a gap down.
Exit comments: This stock dropped but unfortunately I was busy so I couldn't get out when I would've like. So I set a stop loss and got stopped out
took a small win here. Had to leave and was not going to leave my compute while in a trade short as last time i did that I took a 1k loss. Happy I stayed with my trading plan even though I left some money on the table.
Shorted into strength as the stock broke resistance. Cut losses quickly but need to not short these areas.
Shorted this a little bit too early, didnt do enough homework. In other words, i jumped the gun
