What a cock-up! Internet was down 2 weeks, so I had a "go-til-cancel" order in. A reverse split happened & ST software kept trying to fill shorts! Last time I use a GTC order!
Took this breakout play, following the plan. It spiked down and took out my stop prematurely. I was up over $200 at one point, but ended up walking away with a $50 profit.

Exit comments: Good decision. Unfortunately brokerage fees ate up all my profits. Will be looking into Robinhood for this reason.
I started trading live with just $500 with the intention of learning the software, executions, and the emotion of it all. I have had a couple successful trades if you don't count the commissions. Most of my money is gone but the lessons learned have been worth every cent. If I had put a large amount in I could have lost that as well. I believe I am a better trader because of these horrible trades and I know what I did wrong in each of these trades. My biggest problem is chasing right now.
