STT BN AH runner with earnings news. It faded right away. I had a chance to sell at less of a loss, but I didn't do that. I kept my risk pretty high on this one. I need to cut losses quickly when the trade is not going in the right direction. My day trading is weak right now. I need to regroup.
Entered with a big position after hours since this setup has been hot the last couple of weeks however volume was low and instead I took a huge loss. I learned not to force trades, keep a pulse on over all market sentiment and just because somethings been working in the past, things change, and that was the case this time around. Best practice is to stay in a cash position when the market is slow
Patter #2 VWAP reclaim and hold late day, Entry ABCD pattern. Tried to stop out with MKT order not realising it was after 4pm so lost opportunity to come out with small profit as price fell quickly.
