Alerted by ArtOfWar (thanks, Ellis), setting and due for a bounce. Entered pre-market when it was still pretty dry, bought directly into the 300 ask. Then, almost magically, volume came in. Set a limit order at a bit over $8 because I have a meeting, and my order executed into a halt. Very comfortable trade.
Looking through my stocks on the various screens and saw this running. Cut at the top when I saw it lose steam.
Finally got in this big runner. Held on & stayed patient. Made it to 12.35 +. Volume low but price action was hot
First Red Day. -0.84R. Entered at $8.5 and added when te bounce failed. The $8.75 held and it squeezed to almost $12, stopping me out. I can’t wait for the PDT to be gone (June 4th). I only had one day trade and I felt that I only got one short, which is 100% my mistake. Should have cut when it went green and reasses after the 10:30 am, where the exhaustion confirmed. Thesis worked but after stopping me out.
Stock gapped down and pushed at open to r/g level so shorted. Ended up going green and kept pushing so cut. Didn't realize it was a super low float so shouldn't have been this aggressive with entry. Ended up working later in the day but couldn't find a bounce to try and enter.
Got in o what I thought was going to be a dip buy. Started consolidating instead. Kept it in play until a small spike and then out. Since it did not hit my stop/loss, no need to dump.
