Taking small win here after giving it some time and it's just been up and down so don't trust it into opening.
Entry comments: Taking less than full size on this afternoon spiker, double down alert was $7.54 and I was watching it when it hit and went to VWAP. Probably should have called it a miss, but thinking since it bounced off VWAP it can head higher, got a few 2-min trader alerts on it at $7.99 and $8.39. Stop is $7.89; looking for it to surge into M/r $9.58
Exit comments: Held into the close hoping it might spike afterhours and Bohen mentioned it looks like someone is propping it up. But it started failing $8 / VWAP so got out a little early than my stop. Probably never should have been in this play and just called it a miss as mentioned. Several other tickers and similar spikes off VWAP but ultimately fail. Overall market down due to rumors in Dubai. Sleepy this afternoon too...
It didn't bounce at this moment and I thought it would reverse, but instead it went up and I lost money trading it at a higher price.
this was an RTC trade and had to move quickly but as we know this not unusual - also had a strong buy rating from an analyst which doesn't mean an auto buy but a confluence for me- CNSP also had a buy rating - i tried to buy that one on the 2min pull back (this one gave me time to switch to 2min) but forgot set the order to extended hours (not the first time) - I'll get better and not ever giving up
Bad trade! added to a looser started at 9.28-600 shares added to 1300 average 8.29- came up to 8.0 thought it would come up more but dropped quickly to 6.77 did not have a stop loss was using mental stop loss. Next time no adding to a loser and use stop loss ! was up 890 now down 1K-trading timeout I go!
