small gains on overnight play
XGPT was a winner yesterday so decided to try again but was in my car working and so knew I needed to take small size but wanted to see if another one could run. However, it seemed to go lower and I tried to sell several times but kept going lower until I hit 11% loss and finally just got out.
Bought this Friday Afternoon expecting it to continue climbing, but over weekend it dropped some and continued to drop Monday AM until stopped out.
LEARN A LESSON stock went up to 1.33 and I was up 350.00 Hung on for more (GREED) since the volume was high .In about 50seconds stock dropped .I still could of gotten out with a 150 to 100.00 profit but m greed insisted stock would go back up .Ended up stopping out for a 100.00 loss at 1.85. Now every day in this market I watched a 100 srocks spike and fall at the opening.A pattern I should have headed. Greed convinced me this stock would be different and keep going. Asshole pay attention.
Tried to sell for 2.35 as soon as the market opened to lock in a profit but for some reason my sell was rejected by TradeStation and then I waited and got stopped out
choppy cut loss when it bounced back to my almost break even then it sored to 3.30 not patience this worked needed more risk built in would have made $350
