I HELD ON THINKING IT WOULD REBOUND. HALT WAS PUT IN PLACE AND IT IS WHAT IT IS!!!!!!!
Loss. IRA account. Lesson learned. No more SMA promo trade in the future. Needed to trade more conservatively in this account.
SMA promo. Crashed after a few minutes. Had to hold overnight.
Entry comments: Michael Goode said in the chat room that BOPT hit new lows on the day and may be a good dip buy. After some quick technical analysis I figured this might be a good opportunity to get in. In hindsight should have saw that this was not the fist down day so less of a dip. Bought after I saw this should have watched level 2 for see a low of .12 on the day
Exit comments: Was thinking that this stock would gap up and hoping for it. The stock did but not enough to make a profit (after commissions). Can't seem to upload photo
Loss. Lesson learned. No more SMA promo trade in the future. I don't know why I did not sell my position when it went red for the day. The main lesson is when I saw the BOPT could not make any more high of the day after .29, I needed to sell immediately at .29 or .28. But I held and hoped for bounce. Very bad trade.
Scalping the dead cat bounce. Not patient enough today and have some meetings to attend to, so closed out for small profit
