bought on a breakout, did not do what I wanted and cut losses quickly.
Tradier: Another that began tranding down before it could really get started from it's signal. All the indicators were trending it down and I "cut the losses quickly" before it hit my stop. Felt bad for doing it but felt better as is continued to sink. I got wet because of the stock failing but did not drown with it.
News came out AH 7/21 about an acquisition and strategic partnership with Idealize Co. Stock spiked from .19 to .275. Opened PM 7/22 and spiked to .35. I saw it coming back down to resistance from AH 7/21 and thought it could turn into support. It kind of did. But ended up using the lower support level around .25. Got out right before the open because I couldn't tell what it was going to do. Happy with my execution despite breaking even.
I saw this kept fading as it got closer to open. Decided I will take an entry if dips to previous day vwap as I had it setup on chart. I didn't set up my risk properly on this one. I had it too tight cause I just wanted the bounce. But really I didn’t believe in this trade and only took it for the action cause I was stubborn and wanted my setup to work. So I hit it again here after open for essentially a scalp since my risk was so tight. I didn't plan this out so well.
