Spiked on news. Was busy and missed my sell They pumped out prs ford ays and it would spike and fail so shouldve dropped it then But cut the bag today
Held this one over night. Should have sold at .11 but I was hoping for .12 and I only had an hour to trade.
Didn't get a good bounce, I have waited before and been burned by the drop.
Entry comments: Initial buy near high of day 9/21 0.221 in for swing trade. FGD, looking for gap up. Broke rules. Did not cut losses. Continue to average down. Giving this one some time to work. Catalyst: News indicating expansion into new countries, LOI for orders and Tesla battery day.
Exit comments: Worst trade of my trading journey. Should have cut losses next morning at market open. Hard lesson learned. NO BUENO!
The stock was totally non-responsive to the PR and made the election to get the sell order ready first thing in the morning to catch the spike, i was "cutting losses quickly" and happened to get a small profit when the hypothesis was proven wrong.
Entry on the first pull back after the morning break out on news.Sold on consolidation, could be more patient for the second breakout wave.
Watching the trade alerts, tried to dip buy for the first time.
