Small loss
Been observing Alaska for months now and decided to June 25th options as strength continued to trend upwards. Got out when it was bumping up against major resistance.
Stock had taken a beating so thought a contrarian approach since it is typically strong. Set tight stop loss and got stopped out quickly.
Exited too early. Went to over $4 when market corrected. Acquisition got pushed out.
Entered on large green candle gap over 9SMA on yr/day. Was hoping stock would break again above 180SMA but it rejected 180SMA and sold to cut losses. Should not of entered trade on test of a moving average.
Partial fill only, open still - not sure why. More practice for small gains. .06 shares sold, outstanding order for $131.03 remains. Was looking to take $135 profit.
All trades from October till Feb 5th 2021. I started with 20k, made a few swing trades from March 2020 to October. I sold to be safe going into round 2 of Covid-19 and the upcoming election. From October 26th till January I was testing strategies, and trying to get a good grip on Etrade Pro. January 1st I started taking this really seriously and actually taking bigger size. I'm still learning a lot everyday but I see improvement and excited for the future
