Shorted this stock the early part of the day but pushed its way back up through 14. Should have been a believer after 13.85 but I wanted to be safe with the trade. Found the top around 14.17 so I timed exit near perfect.
Weird trade that saw a low of 13.20ish. I was sizing out of position but should have just taken the full position out for more profit once it broke half dollar. Need to recognize strength reversal better
Theory went against me and I had to cut losses quickly. My new sizing rule has helped tremendously for situations like this.
Once it cracked key support at the .50 mark and I was sure of it I was able to get in another great move.
Didn't like the price action and the strength reversal
Previous trade initially went against my theory. In the past I would have walked away to a loser but now that I am back over the PDT rule I immediately turned the trade around and went for the short.
