Thought I had aces. I went big like Lance Breitstein said to do and got burned. Not doing that again.
Really annoying trade. The stock cracked hard and then grinded all the way up past the resistance level with an ABCD pattern and broke out. I should of got out when I saw the ABCD pattern forming.
I covered a bit too soon here. On these slow cracks it seems I can wait a bit for the crack to play out.
I saw another stock with a wall of sellers drop 20% in 1 minute. Not going to underestimate wall of seller plays from now on. Also I lost a decent amount from slippage on this stock. Going to start paying attention to slippage.
I tried to trade 2 stocks at one time which resulted in me missing the boat. Going to stick to one day trade at a time from now on.
Learned my lesson here! Tried to trade 2 stocks at one time and I was so flustered I accidentally clicked buy instead of short, and the stock ended up ripping! Yikes!
Tried to short a multi-day runner too soon. I missed that it was making higher lowers or this loss could of been avoided. Think in the future I'm going to stick to trying to master 1 new strategy at a time.
