Now, looked at the stock again, developed a plan as it was coming out of a halt and executed it correctly. I took reasonable profits and did not chase it higher. Much better trade.
Small quick gains are good.
Working on not freaking out if the stock comes close to my stop loss. I kept this until it dipped and reclaimed, never hitting my stop. Good lesson.
Swith to paper to get more confidence on entry and exit. Worked to change the mindset a bit.
Better trade this 2nd time around & makes a great deal of difference trading with the momentum. Fairly decent entry ($2.85) but didn’t quite hit my profit target ($3.28) end up exiting @ $3.10 since I noticed momentum slowing & wanted to hold on to profits. Could of had a better entry had I noticed the potential sooner but glad to walk away with profits but more importantly sticked to my trading plan.
