$XCOMPQ spiked on 8/24/17 from $0.0125 to closing at around $0.075. On 8/25/17 this stock subsequently ran all the way to $0.25 before tumbling the rest of the day to a closing price of $0.0494.

When looking for the catalyst for this crazy run, all I could find was the following article which to me seemed rather significant...
