Dip buy on momentum shift. Exited a fair bit early for a quick scalp.

Morning sell-off momentum play.

Entry comments: Part of a straddle of $52 before earnings. The goal is to get +75% out of one and -50% out of the other.

Exit comments: The straddle worked!

Entry comments: Up 25% yesterday, down 12% today when I bought. Just following Fibonacci on the dip buy.

Exit comments: Took my 10% and happy.

Entry comments: Earnings play off a morning dip the day of earnings.

Exit comments: Theta hit me hard, but managed to pull 10%. Got out a little early, but couldn’t monitor the trade in real time.

Entry comments: Visa earnings play. I’m going to post my thoughts on my wall.

Exit comments: Earnings beat followed by a crash. Had to average down to .7483 from 1.70. Took a $1 profit and angry at the whole thing.

Entry comments: IQ has gotten beat down bad this week for what I consider to be silly reasons. No earnings losses...all heresay and general BS. So I expect a medium sized recovery. I have the price target at $34.50 before expiration.

Exit comments: Had to cut and run, wanted to use the capital on the Visa earnings this week. Had a really good opportunity to get value on Visa calls, so I liquidated this position.

Entry comments: Earnings and guidance after the bell. Speculation is that earnings were going to beat expectations. MSFT was at 104.32 when I entered. Earnings pushed it to $107.80 after hours. We’ll see what happens tomorrow. I’m not sure if it can retain the gains. Speculation has the price target at $108

Exit comments: Worked! Got out on the opening high.

Scalp against an uptrend. My timing on the top was perfect, I sold for a single when I wanted to move on to my swing trade.
