When you click on someone's trade, it should have a checkmark next to the time stamp. For example: http://profit.ly/1Mrmre. Right under my description of the trade, you see the time stamp and the check mark

@Diamond_Dave Hey Dave are you still using Halifax Bnaks share dealing? Im ready to start trading and this might be the best option for me at the moment especially since it doesn't fall under the pattern day trading rule.... How are the executions etc?

Hi , i still use them. They have good executions yes. Many times ive gotten a better price than what ive asked for when using limit orders. No short selling or afterhours/pre-market trading though so its a good idea to be all cash at the end of the day and not be holding stock overnight incase a negative news catalyst comes out afterhours or pre-market! Another thing is you cant access OTC markets for pump and dumps and NYSE listed stocks have a 15 minute price quoting delay [well it does in t

CONT`D ........... [ well it does for the first hour of trading not sure if it becomes realtime after then] so theres some pros and cons im afraid! Im sure i recall one of the mods saying the PDT rule doesnt apply to UK citizens with interactive brokers but its worth checking out.

Another thing is the 1.25% foreign exchange fee when trading us stocks. its roughly £25 every £2k traded i.e £50 on top of the £25 broker fee so you might wanna take that into account mate. All in all i`d say interactive brokers is best for UK people for trading us stocks but they have min $10k opening requirement so if u aint got that just now you could use Halifax as a stepping stone for now to build your £ up then use it to open IB account which has access to everything! Hope this helps

@ahmadhassan82 I actually started the account with 10k but accidentally reset the account, I went from 10k>20k so set the starting balance to 20k.... But I agree paper trading should be done with what you intent to start with I was $10k set aside for when I'm ready to start

@ugonna12 I use the Think or wim paper trading platform at the moment (just for the charts etc) but I think its only a 60 day free trial. Im having problems finding a UK Broker that alloys & supports me to trade US stock.

@jollar Hey hope you don't mind me asking, and don't mind sharing but what was your starting account size? Looking through your watch lists and profits has been inspirational :)
