Very small position. Got a poor entry compared to the dip that happened a few minutes after entry. Should have waited for a dip buy opportunity instead of chasing opening spike. Overall not horrible but a great learning experience. Exit was premature but I didn't like the overall price action and was uncomfortable holding much longer. I will take the tiny win.
watched PM due to gap up and top % gainer. Traded scared but saw the price action climb quickly. First big profit.
Entry comments: Chased on a downward trending consolidation...BAD!
Exit comments: Lesson to learn from this: - This stock tends to sell off HARD on any kind of news regardless of validity. I could have easily waited until it hit LOD (which I had marked as a target!) and bought in there, to make $50+ dollars. - I did cut my losses fairly quickly. Good job on that, but DONT force a trade, be patient.
Entry comments: I found this to be a potential buy, I was using old news and no new catalyst. BAD!
Exit comments: Just a bad overall trade. I need to learn WTF I'm doing before I trade again. I found this on a scanner, it had old news with no new catalyst and I bought at the EXACT worst time. The very HOD! and had no exit strategy so I just sat there and watched my money disappear.
